The improved seed material of potato is more susceptible to reinfection at the first stages of field reproduction. Reinfection potato plants in the first year of cultivation does not influence on their productivity. Presence of infection at the latent form reduces quality of indicators of seed parties of potato at their reproduction. The percent of affection of plants of potato by virus illnesses increases in reproduction process. Degree of reinfection depends on stability of investigated varieties to virus diseases, intensity of protective and seed-growing actions, from number, migration and specific structure of a plant aphid – transmitting agent of viruses. Cultivation of potato without application of protective actions leads to defeat by a latent virus infection of plants of a reproduction superelite to 42,7% variety Sante; Skarb - 16,5; Vytok - 50,3%. Carrying out of all complex of protective actions promoted restriction of virus reinfection on 11,9-32,9%, to productivity increase on 2,9-7,0 t/ha, to decrease of plant affection by phytophthorosis
