Results of study of the influence of different vitamin-mineral additives on growth rate, natural resistance abilities and quality of sperm production of young bull sires of black and white breed in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. Research results showed that feeding with the increased doses of vitamins and minerals (15,5 mg of copper; 70,0 mg of zink; 80,0 mg of manganese; 1,1 mg of cobalt; 1,2 mg of iodine; 0,3 mg of selenium; 75,0 mg of carotene, 1,3 IU of vitamin D and 60,0 mg of vitamin E) made it possible to increase the average daily gain of live weight in winter period on 9,0%. The increased doses of vitamins and trace element substances in rations of bull sires rendered the positive influence of the natural resistance abilities and blood mineral composition that was proved by the increasing of the bacterial growth-inhibitory activity of blood serum on 8,8%, lysozymic activity of blood serum on 0,6%, phagocytic activity of leukocytes on 5,1%, content of zinc on 19,1%, cuprum – on 18,8% and manganese – on 40,4% in comparison with the control variant. Application of the developed vitamin-mineral additives in winter periods promoted the increasing of ejaculate volume on 7,4%, sperm activity – on 6,7% and concentration of sperm cells in ejaculate - on 6,3% in comparison with the control variant
