Substantiation of the system of mineral nutrition of Galega orientalis L. grown for seed production on the sod-podzolic loam soils of the Vitebsk region of the Republic of Belarus was presented. Applied fertilizers exercised the substantial effect on growth and development of Galega orientalis L. plants. Application of phosphorus and potassium increased plant height and density. The annual application of P60K90 promoted the increasing of number of beans on 21% and the formation of the yielding capacity of feeds on 60-63% (459-460 kg/ha) in comparison with the control variant (without fertilizers). Research results showed that after the harvesting of Galega orientalis L. plants sowings the observed plant showed high capacity for growing again and could form 174-184 c/ha of aftergrowth herbage. The average yield of fodder units depending on the amount of applied fertilizers was the following: germiniparous with straw – 54,6-77,8 c/ha; with aftergrowth – 24,7-36,0 c/ha. Research results showed that application P60K90 mineral fertilizers was the most economically effective (168%). Increasing of the given dose raised the expenses, lowered the percent of net profit and profitability of seed production. Economic analysis showed that profitability of Galega orientalis L. plants production was on 14-44% higher in the conditions of seeds, straw and aftergrowth herbage use
