[Features of the organization and the primary goals of the priority­ development of agrarian science]

There are the key directions where the basic forces of agrarian science are concentrated: in plant growing creation of varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops of the highest efficiency adapted for various soil-climatic conditions and allowing in the maximum degree to use mineral and organic fertilizers; working out of innovative technologies of soil processing, cultivation of agricultural crops and harvesting, in the fullest degree of plants considering feature, possibilities of agricultural machines and requirement of maintenance of ecological equilibrium; search of new effective forms of mineral and organic fertilizers, and also mechanisms of the managing, allowing to support balance of soil fertility, to restore and reproduce soil quality; In animal industries creation of domestic breeds and hybrids of agricultural animals, differing the raised efficiency and conversion of the forages adapted for regional conditions and the industrial maintenance; scientific maintenance of perfection of pedigree structure and structure of herd of animals in all republic, specialization deepening at formation and cultivation of animals within the limits of each cattle-breeding branch; working out of the newest technologies of the animal maintenance and feeding; the diets of the feeding providing raised efficiency with maximum use of a local source of raw materials, proteins, vitamins and microelements and also high quality of production and its biological safety; In the field of agriculture mechanization creation of domestic agricultural machines and the technical complexes possessing nearby of competitive advantages, activization of cooperation of the Belarus scientists-designers and engineers with colleagues from the leading foreign centers on agricultural machine industry; creation of outstanding samples of technics on the co-operative beginnings with foreign partners, target and consecutive development of achievements of world engineering thought and integration of a domestic machine-building complex into world system of production and deliveries of qualitative and high-efficiency technics; in the field of the ready foodstuffs creation of a high-quality, safe and accessible food (and the whole series) different consumer (functional) appointment, working out and introduction of innovative technologies of processing of agricultural raw materials and reception highly valuable and competitive food kinds: The organization of the national monitoring system of food and nutritional value of different kinds and food groups for the purpose of maintenance of their harmlessness for the population; in the field of rural economics working out of effective economic mechanisms, models, techniques, recommendations and offers with reference to concrete conditions of managing, types and groups of the agroindustrial enterprises. Their realization should provide to national commodity producers possibility steadily to strengthen competitiveness and efficiency industrial and economic activities, to dominate in the internal Belarus food market, purposefully to increase an export potential and actively to be integrated into world economic space
