[Comparative evaluation of biochemical composition of fruits of Rosa varieties introduced in the conditions of Belarus]

It is for the first time that comparative evaluation of biochemical composition of fruits of 5 varieties of Rosa of the Russian selection has been made. The study encompassed such varieties as Globus, Pobeda, Shpil, Uralskiy Champion and Vitaminnyj introduced in the conditions of Belarus. The parameters studies include content of organic acids, carbohydrates and phenol compounds. It is showed that among tested Rosa varieties the highest contain of dry substances and bioflavonoids in fruits is at the variety Shpil. The variety Globus differs by the highest contain of free organic, ascorbic and phenol carbolic acids. The variety Shpil and especially Uralskiy Champion contain the highest amount of soluble sugars. Combining all revealed advantages in biochemical fruits composition the variety Shpil contains the highest amount of nutritive value and the variety Vitaminnyj was founded out to be the least interesting and promising one
