History and present situation on reclamation of spoil banks in the Sokolov region. A review

This article is a review of the history and current situation in the reclamation of spoil banks in the mining region of Sokolov, Czech Republic. Different areas reclaimed in the Sokolov region are described with special interest focused on water retention and infiltration as well as reforestation of the areas.
