Fungicides, insecticides, nematicides and herbicides were tested under laboratory conditions for their toxic effect against Trichoderma viride, T. harzianum. T. longifrichum and Gliocladium virens. Among antagonists, T. viride was found to be highly resistant against all agrochernicals followed by T. harzianum. Although thiophanate-methyl as well as carbenda:rim inhibited growth and development of antagonists but within limits. Carbaryl and isoproturon showed least growth inhibition. Fungicides and nematicides caused higher larval mortality of root knot nematode with the increase in concentrations. CarbosuIfan, a nematicide, caused maximum mortality of 77.32 percent at 200 ppm Among tested fungicides, thiophanate-methyl was most effective which showed 60.00
