Correlation and path coefficient analysis of yield and yield components in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under different dates of sowing

Correlation and path analysis studies for grain yield and its component traits in four wheat varieties sown under varying dates of sowing showed that grain yield had positive and significant correlations with days taken to maturity, test weight and number of spikes/meter row length which were mainly due to their direct and indirect effects via each other.
