The existence of inter- farm variation in the extent of adoption of modern technologies and practices in a reality. The significance of the study lies in the fact that such a study will facilitates understanding and identification of factors influencing the extent of adoption at the farm level. Three factors namely, intensity of human labour, marketed surplus and percentages share of crop and livestock enterprises to total income have recorded their significant role in determining the level of adoption per cropped acre. Significant influence of human labour has been found in case of Autumn Paddy (Pre Kharif). Winter paddy (Kharif) and Jute crops. Marketed suplus has been observed to be a significance factor in explanning the extent of adoption per acre of Autumn Paddy(Pre-Kharif), Summer Paddy (Rabi) and wheat crops.
