In dessert lands at center of Iran that was named Kavir small camel breed exist for produce offspring, so raised for meat production and wool is another product of this breed. The biological characteristics of this breed such as Generation interval, calving interval, body weight at birth, 3 months of age, weaning and yearling were recorded during 10 years (1991-2000) on Baphe Station herd that at time contain nearly 100 camels. Generation interval from mother to mother in first calving was 2142„b519 dayscalving interval between first and second parturition was 1262„b500 days. Birth weights were 32.36„b0.79Kg for male and 31.98„b0.74 Kg for female calves. Three months weights were 93.9„b1.9Kg and 90.6„b2.1Kg for male and female calves respectively. Six months weight was 128.26„b3.09Kg and 134.05„b3.48Kg for male and female calves respectively. From six month until yearling the growth rate was slow and in this period lives weight was 144.38„b9.38Kg and 140.37„b7.72Kg for male and female ones respectively. In brief the growth potential of calve is very high in early period of life and it is important for delete male ones after weaning time (six-nine month of age) for the best quality and quantity of meat. Wool production of this breed was 753.1„b338.5gr per year per animal, with low repeatability 0.115„b0.05 in mature females.
