In order to evaluate the effect of integrated weed management (IWM) aspects on yield and yield components of corn a two year experiment was conducted at Iranian Plant Protection Research Institute at Karaj during 2005 and 2006 growing season. The experiment was carried out in a split-split plot design based on a randomized complete blocks (RCB) with three replications. Treatments were cultural weed control methods at two levels (irrigation before corn seeding and irrigation after corn seeding), mechanical weed control methods at three levels (control without cultivation, one time cultivation at 10 cm corn&rsquos height, and two time cultivations at 10 and 30 corn&rsquos height stages) and chemical weed control at five levels (0% (control), 25%, 50% 75%, and 100% of recommended dose of Atrazine+Alachlor (1+5 Kg.ha-1). The cultural, mechanical and chemical treatment were distibuted in mani, sub ,and sub-sub plots respectively. Results indicated that weed biomass and sensity could be reduced 50% using irrigation of fileld before corn seeding. Two times cultivation decreased weed biomass and density more than 50 and 75% compared to no-cultivation treatment and increased grain yield 570 and 2486 kg.ha-1 in 2005 and 2006 respectively. As increase herbicide dose weed biomass and density reduced, but there was no significant different between 75% and 100% recommended dose treatments for weed control and grain yield. Therefore, the herbicide could be replaced by two times cultivations plus corn field irrigation before seeding.
