The experience has been showed that if canola pods harvested few days after physiological maturity shattering will increase fastly. It is due to loss lyer between two pod parts. Present investigation carried out to create varieties with cold tolerance that is suitable for semi-cold areas of rainfed condition and transfer shattering resistance from B. juncea to B. napus. This study carried out in plastic house and research field. Parents, F1, BC1 and BC2 planted each in 2 rows with 3 meter length and 30 cm row spaceing. Seeds of some crosses from last year was less so they planed in pods. In this study 8 parents from B. napus, 4 from B. juncea, 14 F1, 22 BC1 and 12 BC2 were present in crossing blocks. Results showed that some backcrossed in interspecific crosses produced more seeds as compare to others and had more crossability. BC3 generation when the B. napus selected as female parent showed high crossability and produced enough seeds.
