Preliminary evalvation and yield trial of the silag corn hybrids

13 late and medium genotyps of silage corn hybrids, with two late and medium corn typs as the check were evaluated in whole plant silage production in a complate randomized block design, with 3 replications. In order to have 76000 plant per hactar, the seeds were planted on the 75 centirneter rows, with 35 centimeter distances between the plants. 68 whole corn plants were harvested from the plot. Date of planting, date of germination, date of silky & taseling. length of plant and some other factors were checked. hybrid No 11 (K 17/2 * K 18) with the 74.70 ton per hactar silage yield was the highest, and hybrids No 2, 13, 10, & 8. with 71.70, 70.37, 67.37 & 6.70 ton perhactar were the other Ranks SC-704 as the eheck was the sixth Rank, hybrid No 1 was the lowest yield with 49.84 Ton/ha. The best pland architect & highest plant length belonged to No 11 with 2.5 meter lengh.
