Study of Chrysomyia bezziana species In Khoozestan province.

The old world screw – worm (Chrysomya bezziana, Villeneuve) has been recorded in tropical and subtropical Africa, Indian subcontinent ans sowth East Asia. In addition this fly widespread in the Arabian peninsula such as: Kuwiat, Sultanate of Oman, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The first outbreak of myiasis in Iran has been reported in 1996 from southern and southwest parts. In the present study 986 larvae (L3) from Infested animals collected and 275 adat fly incubated in the Department of Entomology Research (Ahvaz Razi: institute). Study of speciement show that Chrysomyia bezzianan and Chrysomyia albiceps (adult fly). Morphological study of adult male and female C. bezziana how that these samples are like Arabian rce of C. bezziana.
