Recently, we have to consider the environment affected by construction works, and monitor the situation of animals and plant changed by construction impact. The method of grasping change of vegetation such as tree growth survey is insufficient for the environmental monitoring at large area. Whereas, the satellite image can acquire the archive data from 1970's, so the environmental change for long time would be grasped at large area. In this study, the authors examine the technique of appropriately monitoring by satellite remote sensing. The results are shown as follows; 1) It is insufficient that we evaluate the construction impact by using satellite images at different two times. 2) It is good correlation between the real tree growth and the vegetation index (NDVI) which is analyzed by a lot of satellite images. Therefore it is effective as the technique for understanding the environment change. We should carry out the evaluation of vegetation change by utilizing many satellite images.
