The aim of investigation was to evaluate nitrogen fertilizers application rates and obtained results, and prepared suggestions for spring barley and wheat production. Conclusions: (1) spring barley variety 'Anabell' and spring wheat variety ‘Picola’ dependency upon nitrogen fertilizer application were determined first time; (2) during vegetation in production technology of barley and wheat have been used: (a) complex mineral fertilizers NPK 18:9:9, worked into soil 26.04.07; application rates in accordance by methodical guidance; (b) ammonia saltpetre - 30.05.07. and 05.07.; application rates in accordance by methodical guidance; (c) herbicide Arrats 150 g haE-1 + Kemivets - 100 ml ha E-1 for weed control; (d) 1.0 l ha E-1 of Terpal for increase of lodgings resistance to barley; (e) 750-1.0 l haE-1 of Cikocel for wheat; (f) 1.0 l haE-1 of fungicide Bell for barley; (g) 1.5 l haE-1 of Tango Super for wheat; (3) used production technology for spring barley variety 'Anabell' and spring wheat variety 'Picola' has been provided a high and qualitative yield.
