Evaluating development of a newborn colt body and supply it with trace elements and vitamins, should take into account that it is start already considerably early - during process of mare insemination and further foetus development in the mare uterus. The fertilized ovum needs specific environment for its dividing. Besides with other factors particularly have been emphasized appropriate trace element and vitamin content therein (Table 1). The authors note that well organized and precise carried out season programme of coupling provides count of inseminated mares yet till 95%. If in feed of mare in foal not enough calcium, pace of foetus increase is decrease, because changes of carcase development that appear to foetus impossible to improve after colt birth. The lack of vitamin A during mare gestation impacted foetus growth and further health condition of a newborn colt - efficiency of gene expression are decreased in development stage of foetus, maturation of the lung was delayed.
