The seminar focused on topics related to "Advanced nutrition and feeding strategies to improve sheep and goat production". The programme of this seminar covered two days of plenary sessions, poster presentations and discussion. The scientific programme comprised three sessions and two round tables on: (i) "Feeding, performance and product quality"; (ii) "New techniques to evaluate and ameliorate feed nutritional value and animal performance"; and (iii) "Feeding behaviour". Round tables dealt with: (i) "Small ruminant nutrition and reproductive performance"; and (ii) "Intake, digestion and metabolism modelling"
