The aim of this study was to examine morphometrical characteristics of part of Podolska breed population. This breed is under protection of Serbian Ministry of Agriculture. It was examined that all linear measurements in Podolska breed population before 50-60 years and now are very similar. Withers height is approximately 124.8 cm for adult females to 123.7 cm for three years old males. Podolian characterized by very high resistance to low temperatures, diseases, parasites and possesing resistingly genes. This breed nowdays among endangered to sustainable populations. With the aim to preserve Podolian population, In-situ programme of preservation has been initiated.
