Food safety is concerned with the hazards associated with poultry meat, eggs and other products that form part of the human diet. Many reports during recent years have shown that Salmonella is the most common cause of human food borne bacterial disease linked poultry. The major strategy to control this infectious diseases by vaccination, surveillans and monitoring programs is the subject of this paper.
