In this paper are presented review of the urban flora of town Pozarevac with analysis of taxonomical structure, life forms and area type. As a result of the floristic investigations of the Pozarevac town carried out between 2006 abd 2007, 362 plant taxa belonging to 223 genera and 66 plant families were recorded. The most numerous representatives were from the families Compositae (43 taxa), Gramineae (42) and Leguminosae (32). Analyzing the presence of the life forms, established its hemicryptophytic character, significant including therophytes. The phytogeographic analysis of flora reveals the presence 10 area-types and 16 area-groups. The species of Eurasian area type are the most abundant.
