In this thesis organizational and economic aspects of milk production on the private farms in the Vojvodina Province (Republic of Serbia) have been analyzed according to the number of cows. Twelve farms have been included in the research, divided into three groups, farms with less than 25 cows, farms with 25-50 cows and farms with more 50 cows. The main objective is to determine how the increase of the concentration of the cows influences the farm-economic results in the milk production. According to the obtained results in this research, economic results per cow and per liter of produced milk were growing by increased the number of cows on the farms. In other words, larger farms accomplished greater milk yield per cow, higher production value, lower direct production costs which all lead to better financial results.
