The aim of this work was to investigate the effects of partial substitution of crushed soybean meal by different portions of extruded rapeseed meal in chicken diet on carcass and chicken breast meat quality. ROSS 308 hybrids were used for investigations. On the results obtained, it was concluded that differences in carcasses quality and breast meat yield between control and experimantal groups were not significant (P is greater than 0.05). The changes in chicken diet had no influence (P is greater than 0.05) on nutritive quality of breast meat (water, protein, free fat and total ash content). Additionally it was found that technological quality of breast meat of the control and experimental groups averagely corresponds to normal meat quality.
