[The preparation EM-Kurunga applying in 1-month calve feeding at the enterprise Lobanovskoje]

The preparation EM-Kurunga containing a complex of efficient microorganisms was fed to Black-and-White calves since the age of 30-days in an amount of 50 ml/day/head for 60 days. In the control and experimental groups (EG) 12 heads were selected for each group. The low level of hemoglobin was observed in claves blood. By the end of the experiment in EG this value was only 76.1% of that in the control group. Red blood count in EG was lower by 18.6%, white blood count – by 13.2%. At day 10 increasing the intensity of protein metabolism in EG (the content pf protein in blood was higher by 8%) was observed, but by the end of the experiment this difference was leveled. In the blood of calves in EG by the end of the experiment there was glucose by 7.5%, inorganic phosphorus – by 11.2%, copper – 15.6%, carotene – 35.3%, vitamin E – by 23.1%. The occurrence of gastro-intestinal disorders in EG reduced by 14.2%, their duration – by 10.7%. An additional body weight gain was estimated 0.58 kg/day/head (10.8%).
