It is shown the preliminary data of paste formulation development based on blastospores and mycelium of entomopathogenic fungus Verticillium lecanii (Zimm.) Viegas. The biopreparation is aimed for microbiological control with soaking pests in greenhouses. Fifteen of water-holding adjuvants and ten preservatives on viability of spores have been studied. The titer in the samples of lecithine, corn starch and corn oil decreased after 1 week of storage. A high titer of alive spores was obtained for samples containing agar, glycerol and potato starch (2.0*10E9, 1.5*10E and l.3*10E9 colony-forming units per 0.001 kg respectively). After 2 weeks of storage pathogen microbial flora appeared in the samples. Aaddition of lecithin (10%) or vaseline oil (6%) as preservatives permiedt to keep a high viability of spores during one month of keeping at +4 deg C (titer of 3.0*10E8 and 8.0*10E8 CFU per 0.001 kg respectively). The follow research aims are determined: to decrease preservative concentrations, to test hydrogels and other adjuvants, to apply jointly a preservative and a water-holding agent
