Dairy cows, irrespective of their milk production, need nutritionally balanced rations, which cover all their nutrient needs, and also the needs for mineral elements. Deficiency in one of the minerals led up to lower production, fertility and common immunity. The nutrition of dairy cows was managed on the family farm owning on average 13 dairy cows. Till the start of our work they did not use the mineral vitamin supplements in the ration for dairy cows. When the mineral vitamin supplement was introduced in the ratio and the ratio adjusted to each cow's milk yield, the milk yield increased by 25 %. The protein and fat content in the milk also increased, even that there was summer time.
