The existence of detail spatial variability related to soil properties is well-known fact. The problem is how to cover and to map it in appropriate way and to obtain relevant data for purposes of rational soil management and soil protections (and precision farming as well). In the paper we present i) an example of the partial results of experiment oriented to compare spatial soil data obtained with different methods (existing data versus data from field measurements) and ii) the results of analyzes of spatial variability related to soil properties (content of Cox, soil texture) and another landscape properties relevant from their contribution to rational soil management point of view. On the base of remote sensing data (satellite scenes) the areas with similar soil properties were visually delimited. The intelligent regular (triangle) soil sampling network was applied to obtain spatially detailed soil data. Collected soil data were processed and maps of spatial variability related to selected soil properties were prepared. The method of zonal analyzes was applied on soil maps, map of elevation (DTM) and on map of crop yield spatial variability with the aim to characterize individual areas. Consequently, individual areas were evaluated from the production and economic rentability point of view. From the experiment results it is clear that classification of delimited areas on the base of selected criteria (special-purposed criteria) represents the method with high potential in support of decision making in the area of rational soil management and soil protection.
