The contribution deals with a typological analysis of unemployed persons in the agricultural sector. About 35-40% of unemployed persons in the mentioned group have no chance of being reintegrated into labour market. It points to the highest enclaves and regional types of agrarian unemployment and it evaluates tension of employers to flexibility of labour management relations. It emerges a category of seasonal agrarian employees with reduced labour and social protection. It identifies wider economical and social impacts of reduced social protection of employees in the agricultural sector. It analyses the current situation concerning labour migration abroad by implication of unfavourable labour market conditions in Slovakia.
