The strategy for agricultural development to become part of the development of Slovakia in 2015. To document the undeniable importance of the role of agriculture in the development of Slovak society, the development of Agriculture of the Executive, ensuring widespread, efficient and effective management of land and land availability of food for the population is a national interest in Slovak Republic. Sustainable agricultural development affects the quality of life. Agrifood processes are carried out in the open country, using natural resources and ecosystems and thus are active on the nature and the environment as well as economic and social conditions of rural life. Therefore, agricultural policies must be formulated in terms of longer time perspectives and objectives with clearly defined development strategy. The strategic objective of sustainable agriculture will require the mobilization of targeted policies and allocation of public resources by promoting technological innovation and economic sustainability of agricultural land use. These will prioritize long-term public interest before the particular short-term interests. Contribution of the measures and policy instruments and the requirements for the business, which is the way to achieve the priorities of the strategy.
