Efecto de metabolitos y esporas del hongo Sarocladium oryzae Sawada sobre algunas poáceas

Español; castellano. Se estudió la capacidad infectiva del hongo S. oryzae en arroz (Oryza sativa, L.), sorgo (Sorghum vulgare, Pers.), arrocillo (Echinochloa crus galli (L.) Beauv.) y maíz (Zea maiz, Lin.). Para ello se inocularon esporas y metabolitos de S. oryzae sobre tales plantas y se evaluó el índice de ataque. Los resultados mostraron que el arroz fue el principal hospedero del hongo S. oryzae; sin embargo, también fueron infectados el sorgo y el arrocillo.

Beauv.) and maize (Zea maiz, Lin.) was studied. Spores and metabolites of S. oryzae were inoculated on each plant, then it wasevaluated the attack index. Results showed that rice was the main host of the fungus S. oryzae, although sorghum and barnyard grass were also infected.
