Irriversibility test is one of the important quality tests of toxoids including Diphtheria toxoid. This test can be carry out by subcotaness injection method as well as intradermal injection method. In Razi institute the test have carried out by sc method. The comparative study with toxoids and toxin dilutions show that the sc method is more sensitive than sc method in detecting of toxic effects of samples, although the results of test about toxoids were the same. These results indicate that the id method is an good alternative for formerly sc method. Reducing in lab animals number have been used in test, earning faster report, high sensitivity and low cost are characteristics of the new method.
