In the forage section of dry land agriculture rain fed research In order to achievement new forage cultivars, were done every year breeding design which present research was performed in this direction. This survey was done with 10 lathy us line which with 3 replications in 2007-2008 growing season at Gachsaran, Gonbad and Saral stations. Each line was planted in 4 rows with 4.5metres length and 25cm spacing from each other via Winter Stiger seed planter device. During the growing season, data were collected from some agronomical and morpho-physiological traits. Simple and combine analysis of variance on the vital agronomic traits and mean comparisons at 5% and 1% probability levels were done. Results of Gachsaran showed that between lines about wet forage and grain yield at 5% and 1% probability level not significant but abut biological yield significant at less than 1% probability levels. The range of wet forage yield from 5.610t/ha for line No.2 Sel.290- ICARDA to 9.779 t/ha for line No.9 Sel.ETH1/299-ICARDA, for biological yield from 1.895 t/ha for check (Naghadeh) to 3.559 t/ha for line No.10 Sel.521/B1 and for grain yield from 0.357 t/ha for check to 0.973 t/ha for line No.6 Sel.587-ICARDA was varied. All of planted genetic material due to sever drought wear out in Gonbad station. In saral station, results analysis of variance for biological and grain yield showed that lines differences about biological and grain yield were significant at 5% and not significant at 5% and 1% probability levels. The range of biological yield and grain yield were calculate from 0.188 t/ha for line No. 5 Sel.449-ICARDA to 0.562 t/ha for line No. 1 Sel.289-ICARDA and from 0.057 t/ha for line No. 5 Sel.449-ICARDA to 0.212 t/ha for line No.1 Sel.289-ICARDA respectively. The results of combine analysis of biological location effect, line effect and line* location interaction effect significant at 1%, 5% and not significant at 5% and 1% probability levels. The range of dry forage (biological yield) was considered from 1.315 t/ha for line No. 2 Sel.290-ICARDA to 1.994 t/ha for line No10 Sel.521/B1. Mean comparison via DMRT method at 5% and 1% probability level showed that lines No.2 and 5 with biological yield 1.315 and 1.320 t/ha and line No.10 with 1.994 t/ha biological yield placed at D, E (as the lowest classes) and A, A (as the highest classes) respectively. Combine analysis of variance grain yield showed that only location effect significant at 1% probability level and other effects (line and line* location interaction not significant at 5% and 1% probability levels). The range of grain yield was identified from 0.274 t/ha for line No. 5 Sel.449-ICARDA to 0.528 t/ha for line No 10 Sel.521/B1. Mean comparisons by DMRT method showed that line No. 5 and 10 with the minimum and maximum yield placed at D, C and A, AB classes.
