This study was conducted to provide the basic information on the quantitative traits of panicle and grain in Korean native rices. A total of 793 Korean native rice germplasms were investigated for the comparison of each other and categorized by the group. Average length of panicle, length of brown rice, width of brown rice, length/width ratio of brown rice and 1000 grain weight were 23.6±2.4 cm, 5.06±0.31 mm, 3.0±0.15 mm, 1.69±0.16 and 21.2±2.0 g, respectively. Positive correlation was observed between length of brown rice and length/width ratio of brown rice, and between 1000 grain weight and length of brown rice, width of brown rice, and correlation coefficient of width of brown rice was higher than length of brown rice.
