The basic subject of the study was the E.orbicularis on the territory of Latvia. The distribution of the species in Latvia, the dynamics of findings, the age- and sexual data, the influence of anthropogenic factors, the dynamics of the sun-basking activity of E.orbicularis and its correlation with the meteorological factors were practically investigated.
