Success or failure of anyone feeding system should connect with its possibility to keep up optimal rumen fermentation, its environment and activity. Can safely asset that obtained milk composition and volume is determined by the rumen, if more than 75% to cow's necessary energy and protein what used for milk production as well as for cows keep up and stock up of organism's reserves, has been obtained in result of rumen fermentation. So the task of rumen is non-stop keep up type of fermentation that mostly correspond such substance making that necessary to gland for synthesis of milk components - milk sugar, fat and protein. There are several factors that necessary for the providing of rumen activity and optimal environment: water; non-stop mixing or stirring of rumen content; timely evacuation of fermentation products; keep up of the rumen pH above 6; feed passage through the rumen.
