The influence of different systems of tillage and mulching of soil on yielding of crops and selected indices of canopy architecture

The research aimed at determining the influence of different systems of tillage and straw management on yielding and selected indices of canopy architecture with plants grown in crop rotation. The mode of tillage exerted a significant influence on as well the yielding as the leaf area index of winter triticale and oats. The best results were obtained on the traditional tillage. The kind of mulch brought about differences in yielding and leaf area index in only winter triticale. No significant influence of the cultivation systems or mulch on the seed weight and mean foliage tip angle was found
