The objective of this work is to compare the morphological features and selected properties of eroded and deluvial soils. The North-Eastern part of Poland, shaped during the Vistulian glaciation period has a number of convex and concave area formations. The young, postglacial land profile is characterized by large differences in relative altitudes, which favours erosion. The study was conducted in the Sepopolska Plain in the landscape of moraine hills and plains and in the Mazurian Lakeland (Poland), organic matter content and water retention (pF 2.0-4.2) was higher in the deluvial than in eroded soils
