A study on pesticide residues in crops from North-Eastern Poland

According to the studies it has been concluded that occurring residues of plant protection products in crops, the North-Eastern Poland represents a low risk of exposure to consumers' health and do not give a cause for concern. Estimated results of chronic exposure, performed for the north the two sub-population of adults and children, are lower for crop consumer from north-eastern Poland than Polish crop consumers in general. In order to protect consumers' health, a necessary condition ensuring, safety foods of plant origin is a continuation of systematic and representative laboratory tests according to recognized international standards for analytical procedures, which were presented in this paper
