Plum psyllid is present in orchards in surroundings of Cacak (Serbia). It is univoltine insect. Specific reproductive host is plum. Number of rainy days and fall amount upon 60 mm requires appearance of reiimigrants. However, this is always connected with passages of vegetation and physiological optimum of host plant. In both localities occurrence of larvae is at the same time on autochthonous cultivars. Larvae with their presence on fruits peduncle cause harmfulness directly. It is visibe in change colour in purple and wrinkle of fruits. This fruits on the smallest touch, limb shake or in the windy whether fall (drop). In condition when species in the low number, damage not economically important, practically fruits are thin out. In experimental orchards oviposition record earliest in March, 23 (1997), and last time in July 7, (2003). Molecular analysis of insect genome show that adult of Cacopsylla pruni belongs to the same genetically group, provisory named group B, as psyllid from Italy and Germany. Actually, do not confirmed specify of genom according to locality, i.e. localities sensu stricto. In the body of Cacopsylla pruni detect the presence of European stone fruit phytoplasma, as a first record in Serbia.
