The contents of some mineral elements in the blood serum of sheep in different physiological cycles and with the different level of minerals in a meal

The level of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in the blood serum of sheep is examined, as one of the indicators of how well animals are supplied with these substances. The average level of calcium in the blood serum of the tested sheep in the Experiment A was 10.25 mg/100 ml of the serum, phosphorus 3.90 mg/100 ml of the serum and magnesium 2.61 mg in 100 ml of the serum. In the Experiment B, the average levels of calcium was 13.65 mg/100 ml of the serum, phosphorus 4.66 mg/100 ml of the serum and magnesium 2.78 mg/100 ml of the serum.
