In this study Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb were determined in water, complete feeds for bullocks and in muscular tissue, liver and kidney of fattened bullocks. The analyzed samples were prepared in two ways: from ashes (by burning in a furnace at 550 deg C) and by wet procedure (with a mixture of nitric and perchloric acid by heating at the temperature of 430 deg C). Microelements were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and stripping voltmmetry (SV). The results obtained showed the procedure of sample preparation had a significant influence on the obtained result in Cd determination when applying both methods. On determination of other elements, the preparation procedure did not have influence on the results obtained, while the applied method influenced Pb determination. The results had the highest values when AAS method was applied.
