The effect of supplementation of different aromas based on ether oils in nutrition of fattening chickens, calves, dairy cows, and rabbits, piglets in rearing and fattening pigs was investigated. Obtained results indicated improvement of production results, gain and feed conversion. In ruminants, improvement of feed conversion is possible with increased share of cheaper maize silage and decreased share of concentrated feeds. Addition of aroma improved the degree of utilization of nutritious substances in the diet, which represents considerable contribution to the decrease of environment pollution by ammonia. Inclusion of aromas had no effect organoleptic traits of meat and meat products. Investigated aromas proved to be justified because of the more favourable cost of gain, as well as from the aspect of economical justification of their application in mixtures and increase of profit in companies which would use them in livestock nutrition.
