The determination of polyphenols content relation to storage duration at -18 deg C in freezing box in fruits of 6 cranberry cultivars (Koralle, Ida, Sussi, Sanna, Linnea, Runo Bielawskie) is the aim of this study. In ethanolic cranberry extracts total polyphenols contents were during the time of 6 months at period of 3 months spectrophotometrically determined. Significant differences of total polyphenol (TP) contents (P less than 0.01) among the observed cultivars were confirmed. With exception of cv. Sussi in all observed cultivars of cranberries 6% - 30% increased TP contents in relationship to the first measurement after first 3 months of the storage in freezing box were confirmed. After 6 months of cranberry storage in freezing box in all observed cultivars the increase of TP contents in relationship to the first measurement were determined. The changes of TP contents were statistically significant (P-value less than 0.01) in all cultivars with exception of cv. Ida. The enhancing was in interval 7%– 29%, the average increase was 17%. Our results confirmed that fresh as well as frozen cranberry fruits are rich source of bioactive compounds.
