Biodiversity of the epigeic groups in the Nature reserve Alúvium Žitavy | Biodiverzita epigeických skupín prírodnej rezervácie Alúvium Žitavy

The goal of our research was to evaluate the biodiversity epigeic groups, which are an important biocoenosis of the life of ecosystems and act as a significant bioindicator of the environmental quality. Collection of biological material were made by the terrestrial trap method, from 2006 to 2008, during the vegetation period, at four locations (sampling places) of the natural reservation Aluvium Žitavy, which covers an area of 32.53 ha in altitude of 111-121 m. During the three-year period on the nature reserve Aluvium Žitavy was obtained 9,315 ex epigeic animal component by terrestrial trap method, which were represented by 27 groups. We have registered dominant abundance of Collembola,Coleoptera Araneidea, Acarina, Formicoidea and Larvae species. With other groups Diplopoda, Diptera, Auchenorrhyncha we have reported lower ocurrence (recedent or subrecendent occurence lower than 5 percent), but despite putting his presence contributed to the diversity of this specific habitat. Index value of species identity by Jaccarda within individual sampling places ranged from 72.00 to 84% identity index of dominance by Rennkonen ranged between 66.49 to 84.13% and the average value of diversity by the Shannon-Weaver was 2.12188. Calculated values clearly confirm the suitability of the environment and the positive relationship between the pursuit zoocoenosis and habitats that the site is nature reserve Aluvium Žitavy, which is an important element in terms of maintaining ecological stability of the country and clearly contributes to maintaining the biodiversity of the country.
