The aim of this study was to determine the effect temperature and relative humidity on ammonia emissions 24 hour time period in summer. The experiment was realized in cubicle loose housing system for 120 head of dairy cows on straw bedded lying area with natural ventilation. Aseko system with four NH3 sensors was used for measuring ammonia concentracion. The ventilation rate was determined by measuring the air flow rate and direction of air flow through the outlets. The average ammonia concentracion of 4.53 mg per cubic m (ranging between 0.31 and 19.81 mg per cubic m) and emission s factor of 26 kg NH3 per head per year were observed. Results of correlation analysis confirmed strong effect of indoor temperature on ammonia production (correlation coefficient of 0.55). The effect of relative humidity of indoor air was not confirmed for this experiment.
