The growth and cell morphology of Bifidobacterium at anaerobic fermentation on the agar surface Bug Box M were studied. The investigated objects were the strains of the Bifidobacterium adolescentis 91, Bifidobacterium longum B379M, Bifidobacterium bifidum 1. As a medium for the bacterial culture were used tryptone and peptone. Anaerobic atmosphere contained hydrogen (9%), carbon dioxide (10%), nitrogen (81%). For the biofilm investigation scanning electronic microscope was used. The apparatus supplying of the cultivation process was displayed as a scheme. The formation of the bifidobacteria cell forms typical for the normal population development was observed. The growth of the Bifidobacterium in the anaerobic station in different mediums was analyzed. The morphology and the forms of the Bifidobacterium adolescentis cells was shown. These forms contained budding rod-shaped and coccal forms, rod-shaped cells with terminal bifurcation and square-headed swelling, branching filaments. The scheme presented can be used for the production of a great number of mono- and poly culture of Bifidobacterium biomass for the medicinal utilization (vaccines, probiotics, etc.)
