In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized the selection of optimal ratio of annual leguminous and cereal crops under different sowing conditions for the production of combined silage of a good quality which could make it possible to use concentrated feeds more economically. In course of the study there was analyzed the influence a ratio different varieties of leguminous and cereal grasses (lupine (Lupinus); vetch (Vicla sativa); field pea (Pisum arvense L.); barley (Hordeum vulgare); maize (Zea mays); triticale; oat (Avena saliva); millet (Panicum miliaceum)) on the content of dry matter, pH value of silage, as well as on its chemical composition. Also there was analyzed the ratio of leguminous and cereal grasses components (in accordance with green mass) on chemical composition of silage. The highest yield of fodder units, metabolizable energy, crude protein in the conditions of good fodder preservation was obtained after artificial mixing of silage of lupine of Guliver variety with a maize hybrid Polesskij 212SV (FAO 210) with the ratio by green mass 25-50:75-50%; as well as after mixing field pea with barley, field pea with triticale, field pea with oat with a rate of leguminous component 75%.Also, it was possible to use lupine of Mirtan variety with barley in ratio 25-50:75-50%, and lupine of Guliver variety with spring triticale (50:50%). The lowest productivity was obtained in case of application of spring vetch in mixture with cereal crops, and mixtures of millet with lupine Gulliver.
