Regulation of potato plantings weed infestation by the herbicide Arcade | Регулирование засоренности посадок картофеля гербицидом аркаде

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the efficiency of combined herbicide Arcade, emulsion concentrate (prosulfocarb, 800 g/l + metribuzin, 80 g/l), produced by Syngenta Agro Services AG for potato (Solanum tuberosum) plantings. Experiments were realized on sod-podzolic light loamy soil with pH sub KCI and humus content respectively 5,57-6,19 and 2,3-2,78%. Two-year field experiments were realized by an example of mid-ripening potato of variety Skarb; appraisement of productivity efficiency of Arcade at the postemergence application was realized by an example of Skarb and Zhuravinka varieties. Herbicides were applied by overall spraying with a shoulder sprayer in dose of 200 l/ha. Weed-killing activity of Arcade herbicide was evaluated at pre-emergence treatment in dose of 4-5 l/ha and at postemergence treatment in dose of 3 l/ha in case of top height of 5 cm. Research results showed that herbicide Arcade, EC was certified for application against bilobate annual plants in Belarus to control the potato plantings weed infestation in dose of 4-5 l/ha for pre-emergence spraying treatment and in dose of 3 l/ha for postemergence treatment at top height of 5 cm.
