In the conditions of the central, southern, and northern regions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the efficiency of application of herbicides produced on the basis of sulfonylurea as well as combined preparations on the basis of two and more active ingredients for the protection of oat (Avena sativa) of Straets, Zapavet and Yubilyar varieties against weed plants. Test scheme consisted of control variant (without any herbicides), agritox, a.c. (1,0 l/ha), laren. SP (10 g/ha), tameron, 75% w.d.g. (20 g/ha) or gyurza, SP (20 g/ha), prima, SE (0,6 l/ha). Herbicides were sprayed in a doze of 200 l/ha in tillering period. Previous crops were winter cereals and grain legumes. Phosphoric (ammonium super-phosphate or double super-phosphate) and potash fertilizers were applied under total tillage in autumn and nitrogen fertilizer in carbamide form – under preplanting cultivation in spring in dozes of P80K120N90. Research result showed that laren and tameron application was the most effective method against weeds. Laren application decreased weed number on 71,4-78,5%, tameron – on 70,3-80,6%. It increased the yield on 6,4-7,2 and 5,4-6,9 c/ha, respectively.
