Among numerous of pathogens, parasitizing on lupine, anthracnose is the most harmful disease and it is extended in all areas of culture cultivation, it invades all species of lupine, but yellow lupine (Lupinus luleus) and white lupine (Lupinus albus) species are most sensitive to pathogen. In epiphytotics years in the conditions of Belarus the productivity of yellow lupine seeds decreased on 85-100%, and green mass - on 40-60%, in Russia losses on green mass of this species of lupine reached 80%, and on grain - 97%. As a result of distribution of anthracnose on yellow lupine there was a sharp reduction of areas under crops as in economy of Belarus have refused cultivation of this species of lupine. In the western areas of Belarus in 1995 the development of anthracnose on lupine obtained the character of epiphytotics, and in 1998 the disease extended on all territory of the country. The majority of the authors who were carrying out research with the activator of lupine anthracnose, named Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. The methods of blue lupine inoculation by anthracnose causative agent in the conditions of artificial climate were considered. Application of seed inoculation at the exposure for 8-12 hours with high density of inoculum (3x10 in 6 degree spores/ml) was the most effective. The 136 varieties were estimated, the 7 of them were classified as high-resistant ones: a variety Pershatsvet, the samples D.25 and D.44-48.
